This semester-length course is designed as a foundational course, specifically for international students, exchange students, transfer students, or non-Catholic students. It is not intended to replace any current religion requirements; rather, it is meant as an additional elective course that our diocesan high schools can offer those students needing a basic course in Catholicism. Topics covered in this course include early Church history, foundations of scripture, truths and teachings, hierarchy, sacraments, moral teaching, and today's church.
